This journal provides immediate open access to its content, based on the principle that providing the public with free access to research assists in the greater global exchange of knowledge.

Publication of articles in the journal is free of charge to authors.

Focus and scope of the magazine

Particularly aimed at the scientific community. The official language for the publication is Spanish and English. The journal publishes original articles, review articles, current issues, letters to the editor and short communications.

Manuscripts must follow the publication guidelines of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (http://www.icmje.org). Papers submitted for publication must be unpublished and original. Papers published or presented at the same time in another journal will not be accepted.
